The USF&WS needed to relocate existing staff from a dilapidated multi-family structure into a modern facility suitable for both families and single personnel. LCG worked with USF&WS to investigate multiple possible sites for the new triplex taking into consideration suitability for construction, ease of utility connections and quality of life for the occupants. After completing the schematic design direct for USF&WS, Tunista Construction recognized the value of LCG and selected us to complete the design as part of their Design/Build team. The triplex consisted of two two-story, two-bedroom units as well as a fully ADA-accessible single-story, two-bedroom unit. The building employed a highly insulated envelope and open floor plan to provide energy efficient homes in a comfortable environment.
